"An honest review + ideas on how to use your bullet journal" @foxstahart
Hey guys! I’m Marita Elida and you can find me on Instagram as @foxstahart.
I love bullet journaling, and I couldn’t say no when the team at Kuma Stationery and Crafts asked me if I wanted to try their new bullet journal.
They were kind enough to send me the beautiful Luna ‘Cosmic KUMA’ Limited edition A5 Bullet Journal.
The first design of their Luna Collection.
I really really like this bullet journal. It has crisp white, ultra thick 160gsm pages. So that means I don’t have to worry about ghosting or bleeding.
The bullet journal also lies completely flat when opened! And it comes with a super cute bookmark and a pocket in the back.
I also adore the front cover design. I’ve actually ordered two more bullet journals and I can’t wait for them to arrive.
I love this bullet journal, and I’ve absolutely found my new favorite.
I use my bullet journal as my ‘everything journal’, where I track different things for my mental health, and try out different spreads.
I track my mood and my sleep to see how it affects each other.
Self care is really important, but it can be hard, so I like to make it a little more fun by having a self care bingo.
The self care bingo serves as both a helpful reminder of different self care tasks and as a game that helps you be motivated to take care of yourself. And it helps you validate your efforts when you do! And you can make it fit your own needs.
I also like to keep a gratitude log. Having a gratitude log helps me acknowledge the good I have in my life even when things don’t seem to go my way.
A gratitude log doesn’t change your life circumstances, but it helps you change your perspective on things and it generates a positive vibe and awareness of all the goodness that surrounds us.
And that definitely helps my mental health, because I no longer focus on negative things that often trigger my depression and anxiety.
The next thing I have in my bullet journal is a page of positive affirmations. It’s not a tracker, but it’s a page of positive self-talk.
Repeating a supportive, encouraging phrase gives it power, because hearing something often makes it more likely you’ll believe it. It gives you the power to change negative self-talk into positive self-talk, and help you accept and hopefully love yourself.
Happy bullet journaling!
